  • Preparing and filing missing, omitted, or corrected FBARs (FinCEN Form 114) for up to the past 6 years.
  • Preparing and filing Form 1040-X disclosing any foreign account (e.g., Schedule B, Part III, or Form 8938) for up to the past 3 years.
  • Preparing and filing Forms 3520 and 5471 if needed.
  • Preparation and filing a reasonable-cause statement based on your facts and circumstances arguing for penalty abatement or non-assessment.

We handle the calculations and narrative drafting.

Streamlined disclosure for non-willful filers

From $7,500

  • Preparing and filing missing, omitted, or corrected FBARs (FinCEN Form 114) for up to the past 6 years.
  • Preparing and filing Form 1040-X disclosing any foreign account (e.g., Schedule B, Part III, or Form 8938) for up to the past 3 years.
  • Preparing and filing Forms 3520 and 5471 if needed.
  • Preparation and filing a Form 14653 for expatriots or Form 14654 for residents with your facts and circumstances explaining why disclosures were not timely filed.

Tax litigation

Representation in the U.S. Tax Court only; civil only.

Representation in the U.S. Tax Court, Detroit, pre-trial through decision.

$500 per hour

Comprehensive representation from petition to decision. Custom retainer determined by a case's scope and anticipated expenses.


Tax strategy & planning

Just the plan

From $2,750

Plan only:  initial meeting to collect information, check-in meeting to address options, and a final meeting to deliver a plan.

Ongoing tax advising

From $300 monthly

Includes a plan and one meeting (up to 1 hour) each month for a year to prepare and implement your ongoing tax strategy.

*Any hourly billing is done in 1/4-hour increments unless agreed to otherwise. Representation in Michigan only. Retainer will be required with terms outlined. All direct expenses related to any engagement (e.g., mileage, parking, tolls, hotel, postage, etc.) will be billed at cost.
